What is a Scarless Breast Lift?

With BodyTite and Morpheus8 from InMode Aesthetics, radiofrequency technology is used to gently heat the skin of the breast. This causes the skin and the underlying tissue to contract and tighten, just as in a surgical mastopexy – but without the scars that accompany mastopexy.

As the collagen remodels over the next several months, the nipple position can be lifted and breast shape can improve. The appearance of stretch marks, elasticity and overall skin quality can also improve. Dr. O’Connell was an early adapter of ThermiTight and was one of the first plastic surgeons in Connecticut to use BodyTite. We’ve had Morpheus8 longer than any practice in our State.

It’s important to note that with BodyTite a small scar is produced. Scarring is not anticipated with Morpheus8.

It’s important to understand that non-surgical breast lifts are not as yet appropriate alternatives to breast lift surgery for all patients. Westport Scarless Breast Lift candidates are women with mild to moderate drooping or “ptosis”. Like all aesthetic procedures, the results are not permanent but they should last several years and scarless breast lifting with BodyTite or Morpheus8 can be repeated as needed.

At Total Aesthetics, non-surgical breast lifting is performed under local anesthesia. Morpheus8 is performed with just topical anesthetic cream. PRO-NOX can be used to reduce anxiety and discomfort.

The best candidates for non-surgical breast lifting are:

Women with relatively small breasts with mild to moderate sagging (ptosis) who need only a small amount of lift and/or nipple elevation.
Women who do not desire added volume to their breasts
Women who have not had or do not currently have breast implants

Women who are in good general health
Women who do not have a history of breast cancer or prior breast radiation

What is the Scarless Breast Lift Recovery?

Some swelling, bruising and mild discomfort can occur but most patients can return to work the following day. Exercise is allowed in a few days.
