During your ThermiTight® consultation in our Westport, Connecticut facility, Dr. O’Connell will review your medical and surgical history including prior procedures, allergies and medication use. The area(s) you wish treated with be carefully examined and all your questions will be answered. The potential alternatives as well as the risks and potential complications of the procedure will be reviewed in detail.
How does ThermiTight® work?
Thermitight® employs radio frequency technology to gently heat the area below the skin while the surgeon and system computer monitor the temperature. The use of real time Thermal Image Guidance™ helps assure safety and effectiveness. This results in contraction of the support structure for the skin with precise skin tightening and contouring.
What areas can be treated with ThermiTight®?
ThermiTight® is used wherever there is need for skin tightening. Commonly treated areas are the neck and submental region (area below the chin), abdomen, arms, back rolls and thighs. Even the loose, wrinkled skin adjacent to the knee can be successfully treated with ThermiTight®.
