What is Evolence®?
Evolence® is an injectable dermal filler from OrthoNeutrogena made from Type I collagen extracted from porcine tendons that has been crosslinked through a process known as Glymatrix™ technology that is believed to slow its resorption rate.

How does Evolence® used for?
Evolence is indicated for the correction of moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Is pre-treatment skin testing required?
The FDA has determined that pre-treatment skin testing is not required.

How long will the results last?
A study published in 2007 in the journal, Dermatologic Surgery showed equivalent effectiveness in correction of nasolabial folds at six months when Evolence® was compared to a non-animal-stabalized hyaluronic acid product.

How much does Evolence® cost?
The cost to the consumer of Evolence® is comparable to hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers.
