What is a mastopexy?

A mastopexy, or breast lift, is an operation designed to lift and contour breasts that are of abnormal shape. Most mastopexy operations are performed to correct drooping or "ptosis" of the breasts. Breast implants are commonly used to add valume to the breasts in mastoplexy procedures.
